A sentient sadness spread throught the universe this morning, as Sushi Japan Football Club were inadvertently knocked out by Feijoada (black bean stew) Brazil F.C, 1-2 in south Texas. Disheartened and demoralized is the author, as my bigoted intuition had not expected such an outrageous mishap. Sushi’s 3-2 victory; that was my sincere prediction before the clash.
95% of the audience were sprightly Brasilenese, all in mellow yellow. Giappone played with ambition and austerity in the first half, blocking rhythmical attacks by the south americanos – who were partialy lacking in robustness. Sushi F.C’s Sano scored a prodigious goal in the 29th minute, instigting pure rare exhilaration within my already demented senses. Bickerings between Sushi and Feijoada continued, as the latter capitalized through a fine cross from No.3 defender bloke. Ingenious were the Brazillians, that we all knew but the Giapponese players with spirits of avarice nullified possible dangers here and there; as most spectators had presumably imagined entering ‘extra time’. But with just a minute to go, luck favored the black bean stew-mongers.
Consolation for the Nippon players and the entire team is unnecesary, although edification for a brighter future certainly is. Unintelligible is the outcome of this sport as it always is, but I do humbly reckon that it is incontrovertible that Japan football is building up the quintessential capacity to become the next “Soccer Superpower” like my folklore friend Captain Tsubasa.
Despondent as I am thanks to todays bollox outcome, but I do thank all Sushi players as well as fans and supporters who hoorayed for Giappone with remarkable love and mulficiency.
See you in 2030, if I’m still around!!!
